Hello from Bemidji

February 1, 2006

I arrived here in Bemidji, Minnesota around 6:30 Sunday night after having left my house at 7:30 that morning. It is much different here than in Iowa. There is lots of snow on the ground and it is continuing to snow and should be for most of time while we are here.

There are five Luther students and six Concordia students going on the trip and we have had four professors up here with us as well. We have gotten started on some of our classes. It has been interesting learning at “camp”. We are living in the German village which is funny. We eat six times a day which has been hard to get used to and it’s German food so I don’t know what kind of practice it is.

I am not sure what else to say at the moment. Everything is going well here, just very slow but yet still busy with school work and eating. I will of course keep you all up to date with all new and exciting things.
